Recently, my country's agricultural department issued a series of guidelines on the use of fertilizers and precautions. Experts pointed out that the rational application of fertilizers is the key to increasing crop yields. For example, when planting wheat, a scientific fertilization plan should be formulated based on soil fertility and target yield. For fields with medium fertility, it is recommended to apply nitrogen fertilizer (N) 8-13 kg/mu, phosphorus fertilizer (P2O5) 4-6 kg/mu, and potash fertilizer (K2O) 4-6 kg/mu. At the same time, experts also suggested that the combination of organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer can further improve soil fertility and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers.

In addition, some details should be paid attention to when using chemical fertilizers. For example, urea, as the most commonly used nitrogen fertilizer, should not be watered immediately, otherwise fertilizer damage and seedling burning may occur. The application of nitrogen fertilizer should not be too much, especially for bean shell crops. Too much nitrogen fertilizer will cause the crop to be greedy and mature late, affecting yield.
